Owners
Jerome and Ann moved to Florida in 2004 after raising 4 children on a cattle and grain farm in Ohio. That’s when they purchased Malabar Feed and Farm. In 2013 they opened Malabar Country Vet and Groomer ( now Malabar Country Veterinary Clinic). They continue with their mission to be a blessing to their community while living their Christian heritage. Now that they have 7 grandchildren they are semi retired so they can spend more time with family.
Dr. Faure grew up on her parent’s farm in Bavaria Germany. She graduated from Veterinary School of Ludwig Maximilian’s University in Munich Germany. Her first 5 years in practice were at a 24 h veterinary clinic in Weilheim, Germany. The clinic was specialized in Surgery, Dentistry and general practice. In 1999 she moved to Melbourne Beach to live with her husband. She graduated from the ECFVG program and became licensed for veterinary medicine in Florida. During her 12 years at the animal emergency clinic she rescued many animals and found them good homes, but Fang, the German Shepherd puppy with 2 broken legs was too special to give away. In 2013 she transitioned to Malabar Country Vet and has since found great joy in working with patients in need and their “parents”. The passion of helping animals in need and seeing them get better has been the joy in our wonderful profession. In her time off she enjoys hiking, cycling, water sports and time spent with her husband and pets. Her Australian shepherd “Ezra” comes with her wherever she is.
